MyCloudIT Releases the Latest Remote Application  in Microsoft Azure

By Thao Duong

MyCloudIT announces a ready-to-deploy solution to replace Azure RemoteApp, enabling Partners to deliver remote applications in Azure for businesses of any size.

DALLAS, Texas (August 30, 2016) – MyCloudIT, developed by the cloud-software development company Conexlink, announces today its ready-to-deliver solution for remote applications in Azure. Using Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), MyCloudIT eliminates existing constraints in the soon-to-be retired Azure RemoteApp. MyCloudIT simplifies the delivery of remote applications in Azure while also providing full flexibility in the deployment, management, and monitoring of customer deployments.

For the first time, Partners have an automated platform to deliver remote applications in Azure with no minimum requirement for users. From small teams with less than five people to large enterprises, companies of any size can transition their business to the cloud and get access to legacy and line-of-business applications on any device.

“We’re excited to bring Remote Applications to anyone who needs it, regardless of the company size or the number of users,” said James Riley, CEO at Conexlink. “Small businesses are now able to increase their efficiency and savings via MyCloudIT instead of paying for expensive on-premises hardware.”

The MyCloudIT platform enables Partners to fully control their deployments with simplified management features. Admin users can deploy applications from the MyCloudIT marketplace, bring their own images, and switch applications at any time with just a few clicks. Application and user collections allows organizations to control team access to a specific set of applications. With MyCloudIT, Partners can deploy, manage, and monitor remote applications from a single pane of glass without extensive Azure knowledge.

“There is no need to hire an engineer that’s an Azure expert when you have MyCloudIT. You simply point and click, point and click, point and click – and you have a Windows deployment built in Azure,” according to Bruce Mizell, CEO and President at Global-ENC.

MyCloudIT offers a simple and affordable transition to the cloud. Regardless of application type, Partners pay a flat license fee of $8/user/month, along with Azure consumption and RDS subscription access licenses. To maximize savings, Partners can apply their Cloud Solution Program (CSP) discount if they have one, or receive a 15% discount on Azure consumption under the MyCloudIT’s CSP subscription. Auto-scaling and network scheduler features also allow customers to optimize total costs and save on Azure consumption during non-working hours.
